The splash pad uses recycled water and is on a cycle of being on for 1 hour and off for 20 minutes. There are 3 playgrounds and a beach nearby as well as all of the amenities and activities of the state park.

Rosalind Water Park – Splash Factory
Within Roseland Water Park there is a Splash Factory.
For guests who are under 48″ tall, the playground of their dreams awaits!
The Splash Factory has 6 small waterslides, a dozen water cannons, a 1,000 gallon bucket of water that dumps every minute, and much more. For those who want to relax there is a spacious covered lounging area.
Two or more lifeguards are always on duty here.

Open year round from 7am-11pm with lifeguards on duty 11am-7pm from Fathers Day to Labor Day.

There is a playground, volleyball courts, basketball courts, pickleball, fishing, carousel ($1 rides), public restrooms, food concessions and picnic areas as well as a boardwalk and nearby retailers and restaurants.

 

Durand Eastman Beach

Durand Eastman Beach on Lake Ontario is part of Durand Eastman Park, which has a playground, public restrooms, picnic area, trails and more. Swimming is supervised by lifeguards in the designated area near parking lot A from noon-6pm throughout the summer (swimming is prohibited in all other areas).

Greater Rochester YMCA
Every Greater Rochester YMCA location has an indoor pool with a splash pad area available to members. Check the schedule for each location to see what aquatic classes you can take and when the pool is open for free swim.

Outdoor Swim Centers
Swim Centers are available to those with a YMCA of Greater Rochester Passport Membership.
In the event of a weather closure, keep an eye out for notifications on the Greater Rochester YMCA app.

Open Swim is open to anyone, visit the link for hours and admission rates.
Residents of Perinton are offered a discounted rate with a resident ID.

 

Kershaw Swimming Beach

The beach area at Kershaw Park is open Memorial Day weekend through late August, 2024. Daily admission to the beach area for non-residents of the City is $5 per adult, $2 per child ages 6 to 18 and no charge for children under 6. Non-resident season passes cost $60 per adult and $40 per child.

City of Canandaigua residents may purchase resident tags for $1 per person at the park by showing proof of residency.
